Priorities as your City Council Member
​Elizabeth Jonasson Rosas is a staunch advocate for Southeast Fresno families and will prioritize working on:

Elizabeth is the most qualified candidate to serve the residents of District 5.

As a professional in agriculture, Elizabeth has fought to bring the water farmers and farmworkers need to provide food for the nation and jobs to our community.

In her role as a school board member, Elizabeth delivered over $150 million dollars to Southeast Fresno to build new schools (Farber educational complex and Juan Felipe Herrera elementary) and modernize our existing facilities, along with millions of dollars invested in safe routes to schools in partnership with the City of Fresno.

Personal
Elizabeth is deeply committed to addressing the critical challenges facing District 5.

Elizabeth believes in public service, volunteering on non-profit boards, for neighborhood events, clean-ups and food distributions.

Elizabeth and her husband have been foster parents for 5 years, taking into their home and caring for children that have been abused, abandoned, and/or neglected, and providing a safe and loving home for our most vulnerable kids.

An animal-lover, Elizabeth’s household includes rescue cats Thomas and Elita and dog Mindy.
